VAT Submission Norway 2022

EBS Consulting have created a VAT portal for users of Oracle ERP Cloud, Oracle E-Business Suite and other ERP systems. The portal supports new requirements for electronic reporting of VAT from 01.01.2022.

We use SAF-T files (with transaction data) which we convert to the new format. Advantages of our solution are:

it is based on SAF-T data
it has a complete integration with the ID portal (for authentication) and Altinn (for validation and reporting)
we can further develop the solution for future requirements from the Norwegian tax authorities. E.g. Purchase and sale reporting.

EBS Consulting AS has experience with the implementation and management of Oracle ERP Cloud. In this regard we have seen the need for Norwegian locations and extensions. By creating standardized solutions, we ensure that Oracle ERP Cloud follows Norwegian laws and regulations, while keeping costs for development and maintenance low for the individual customer.

SAF-T

To meet the need for SAF-T reporting in Oracle ERP Cloud, EBS Consulting has developed an extension in Oracle APEX. The extension produces the SAF-T Financials report in the required XML format.

The solution is user-friendly and very easy to implement. Basic data is extracted from Oracle ERP Cloud, and then all contact information and mappings are maintained against standard codes in the APEX extension. Thus, there is no need for changes in Oracle ERP Cloud.
